As we accumulate a growing amount of content, the task of meticulously assigning each piece to its appropriate collection to maintain an organized and coherent knowledge base can become quite tedious. Today we are delighted to announce the rolling out of our AI-based content organization system. The idea is simple: You tell us how you want to organize your content, and we take care of doing it as you capture it.

In practice, all you need to do is create your list of collections, and as you add your content to Memento ( whether it's notes, links, PDFs, images with text etc.) our AI will be capable of analyzing it and find the best match from your existing collections. Have a look at our demo video here 👇:

For an optimal we experience we recommend always having an "Uncategorized" or "Random" named collection, where our AI will put content for which no good match among your collections is found.

Given that you may have shared collections with friends or created public collections accessible via public access links, our AI system will exclusively incorporate your content into your private collections. This approach is designed to prevent any inadvertent sharing of content that you intend to keep for yourself only.

Your Archived collections will also be out of reach for our AI, so remember to archive your collections once you are no longer actively using them or adding content to them.
